ReGUARD radar is a multi-role 3D radar which utilises a small radar cross-section (LSS) to detect and track ground and low-flying targets at the same time. ReGUARD checks the area by using electronic beam steering and mechanical radar rotation.

ReGUARD operational modes
ReGUARD operates in a sector or rotational mode. Each mode utilises a different method of scanning the area in azimuth. When the radar scans in sector mode, its beam is steered only electronically, both in azimuth and elevation. While scanning rotationally the radar sensor head rotates on a turntable, and the electronic steering of the beam is primarily used in elevation.
Steering in azimuth provides rapid confirmation of detection when initiating track and enhances the quality of tracking while scanning (TWS). The ReGUARD is configurable in each operational mode according to individual deployment requirements
ReGUARD radar can be applied either as a standalone sensor or as an integrated part of a complicated system, adapting to each client’s needs and safeguarding requirements. This makes it particularly useful for the following applications:
Border control
ReGUARD protects borders by making sure no person, vehicle or drone crosses the border without the operator being aware. This provides early warning and facilitates prompt reaction for effectively responding to threats. A large territory is therefore secured and protected.
ReGUARD’s range covers up to 22km of border in the horizontal plane and can also detect possible threats up to 8km behind it.
Anti-drone system integration
ReGUARD can also be integrated into a comprehensive anti-drone system as a radar sensor for LSS detection with a range up to 18km. Thanks to its outstanding capabilities, it supplies the drone with ‘early warning‘ information. The anti-drone system then utilises ReGUARD-generated high-precision target positioning data for managing anti-drone operations. ReGUARD ensures ultimate protection as an integral part of the anti-drone solution.
Portable radar system
The radar head is mounted on a tripod for convenient temporary deployment. Easy location change ensures the effective securing of crucial geographical points or border control.
