TATRA TRUCKS is one of the world’s leaders in automotive solutions with a tradition of manufacturing vehicles reaching back to 1850. Tatra all-wheel-drive vehicles with a unique chassis based on a backbone tube and independent swinging half-axles, available in configurations ranging from 4×4 to 16×16, are a key element of the equipment of the Army of the Czech Republic and are also used by armed forces around the world. The company exports 80% of its production, and its product offerings include standard model ranges as well as customised trucks for our clients’ needs.

TATRA FORCE

Key product in the defence, firefighting and rescue sectors, equipped with the Tatra original chassis, complete with Tatra air-cooled engines and with a Tatra gearbox (either a direct shift model or with a Tatra electronic shifting system Norgren). Apart from Tatra engines, the company also supplies Cummins or Caterpillar and other engines, as well as semi-automatic or fully automatic gearboxes by Allison. TATRA FORCE line can be equipped with standard cabins or armoured cabins according to STANAG 4569 standards. All cabins are available in two-door or four-door versions for crew capacity up to 1+5.

TATRA TACTIC

This model line is a medium-class all-wheel drive off-road logistic vehicle for military use. This high mobility vehicle has been designed at the borderline of medium and heavy truck classes N2/ N3. TATRA TACTIC is based on a ladder frame in combination with special Tatra Rigid portal axles, reaching the exceptionally high ground clearance. The vehicles are made in 4×4 or 6×6 configurations with regular or armoured cabins, and feature Cummins or Renault engines. Further customisations can be ordered.

TATRA PHOENIX

This model line is a key element of the TATRA TRUCKS civilian production program, and it is also available in a military version for customers, such as those from the Middle East or NATO. TATRA PHOENIX trucks are based on a combination of the original Tatra chassis concept in 4×4, 6×6 or 8×8 configurations and subassemblies of manufacturers like DAF, Paccar, ZF, and Allison.

Unique TATRA concept

At the heart of every TATRA chassis is the iconic central backbone tube, which houses the drive shafts and differentials. Combined with independent swing axles and air suspension, this gives TATRA vehicles exceptional driving capabilities and stability on any terrain.
