Red/Black is a Web-based server that can control and monitor different devices and servers, focusing on HF Radio systems. This complements and doesn’t replace the main device management tools. Red/Black servers can operate in two to manage devices within a secure boundary.

Red/Black supports HF Radio systems and displays and manages communication chains.

Use Overview

A Red side operator view of Red/Black exhibits the following functions:

  • Devices are organised into ‘communication chains,’ allowing the operator to understand device connections clearly.
  • The Red/Black boundary is distinctly represented, highlighting encryption and guard devices located at this boundary.
  • Devices on the Black side are displayed to the right of the boundary, enabling an operator on the Black side to monitor and manage them without any visibility on the Red side.
  • The Red side servers are monitored and controlled to the left of the boundary.
  • The Red/Black main screen presents important status indicators for each device, primarily facilitating monitoring from this top screen.
  • Alerts are located in the bottom right corner, with devices that have unread alerts clearly identified for the operator.
  • Operators can select devices to access more parameters and control options.
  • Red/Black allows operators to configure device connectivity (for switchable setups) and administrators to adjust settings according to the physical configuration.
