Icore International to Demonstrate at DSEi 2007

Visitors to this year’s Defence Systems & Equipment International Exhibition (DSEi) will have the opportunity to view the latest products which demonstrate Icore International’s advanced capabilities in fluid transfer and electrical interconnect systems.

In addition to its new Weavewrap electrical harness protection system that combines superior mechanical and electrical performance with exceptionally light weight, versatility in use and ease of installation, Icore International is showing a wide range of innovative interconnect components, including backshells with enhanced sealing and EMC shielding properties, and backshells and transition components in corrosion-proof plated and unplated composite materials.

As a leader in the provision of fluid transfer systems, Icore International will have on show the latest in hose and coupling solutions. Alongside its own very flexible convoluted PTFE hose will be hydraulic quick disconnect couplings and a wide range of medium and high pressure hoses from the Stratoflex Products Division of the Parker Hannifin Corporation, for whom Icore is now UK distributor.

Demonstrating its expertise in the field of power contact design, and its commitment to the development of products for demanding military applications, Icore is showcasing examples of its 400-1,000 Amp power connectors. Complementing these products are high voltage connectors for use with printed circuit boards and busbars.

In addition to standard products, Icore International also offers bespoke systems design and manufacturing capabilities for electrical harness related applications, and its capabilities in this area have recently been extended by closer integration with sister company, Aerazur in France.

Throughout the exhibition, experienced engineers from Icore International are available on the company’s stand to discuss these custom design capabilities, to demonstrate the products on the stand, and also to provide expert advice on visitors’ specific electrical or fluid interconnect requirements.
