EXPAL Systems has been awarded a three-year outline agreement by the Nato Procurement and Support Agency for the provision of 25mm x 137mm cannon ammunition to its Partnership members.
Under the new agreement, the company is set to deliver 25 x 137 mm ammunition in its high-explosive models (HE-T and HEI-T), to be used in the most widely used 25mm cannons: Bushmaster M242 and Oerlikon KBA. Both rounds provide excellent performances always complying with STANAG 4173.
EXPAL Systems is one of the main suppliers of ammunition to NSPA, being No. 1 on number of contracts, and the No. 3 on contracted volume over the last 10 years, supplying to more than 20 nations from the NATO Ammunition Support Partnership.
