ViaSat UK has partnered with cyber solutions provider Cyber1st to exclusively deliver secure voice and data capabilities to the UK Ministry of Defence (MoD).

The collaboration will also provide these services for other defence users, commercial customers and governments across the globe.

The partners will focus on future crypto solution intended to safeguard integrated networks from diverse threat paths.

Currently, Viasat UK is constructing a sovereign Network and Cyber Security Operations Centre for premier cybersecurity services.

Viasat Inc supports Type 1 network encryption for Layer 2 Ethernet Security Specification (ESS) / Ethernet Data Encryption-Cryptographic Interoperability Specification (EDE-CIS), and Layer 3 High Assurance Internet Protocol Encryption (HAIPE).
