A-T Solutions has secured a contract to supply its comprehensive crash and crime scene diagramming tool to the US Army Criminal Investigation Command (USACIDC).
The company will deliver its ScenePD tool for use in the field to capture and secure information about critical incidents.
A-T Solutions president and chief executive officer Dennis Kelly said: "We have a long and successful history of serving the army and our team looks forward to supporting army CID with this set of enhanced technology tools that will bring them even greater efficiencies, productivity and cost savings in completing their important mission."
ScenePD Pro is an intuitive programme that uses a large library of intelligent objects to quickly and accurately diagram complex crime scenes, from illustrating acts of violence to mapping floor areas.
The tool is expected to be used for multiple missions, including post-incident diagramming and reporting, preplanning activities and training.
With the Pro bundle version of the software, the USACIDC team will be able to integrate additional types of collected data, including GIS capabilities and satellite imagery, digital evidence, including photos, audio and video, as well as mobile capabilities that can be used on Windows mobile, Android and iOS platforms.
In addition, data sharing and reporting capabilities within the tool will help the command securely and efficiently share critical incident information with other US Department of Defense investigative services, including the Air Force Office of Special Investigations and the Naval Criminal Investigative Service.
AT-Solution's field data collection and incident scene diagramming tools have been used by thousands of law enforcement professionals, first responders, homeland security teams and defence forces worldwide for more than a decade.
