COM DEV International is to provide passive microwave equipment for a Canadian military communications satellite.

Under more than C$7m (US$6.65m) worth of military contracts, the company will supply UHF diplexers, switch and filter assemblies, stand-alone switches and ancillary components for the military satellite.

According to COM DEV International CEO John Keating, the supplies will be delivered by the company’s Cambridge facility in Ohio.

Work is expected to be complete by the end of the 2011 fiscal year.
