STG to Protect US Army Information

The US Army has awarded a contract to STG to deliver information assurance (IA) services to the US Army Information Systems Engineering Command's (USAISEC) Information Assurance Systems Engineering Directorate (IASED). Under the $39m contract, the company will provide IA support services

The US Army has awarded a contract to STG to deliver information assurance (IA) services to the US Army Information Systems Engineering Command's (USAISEC) Information Assurance Systems Engineering Directorate (IASED).

Under the $39m contract, the company will provide IA support services for several IASED clients, including the Program Executive Office, US Army Corps of Engineers, the Department of Defense (DoD) and other federal agencies.

In addition, the IA services protect and defend information and information systems by ensuring their availability, integrity, authentication, confidentiality and non-repudiation.

The USAISEC, a subordinate command of the US Army Communications-Electronics Command (USACECOM), provides system engineering and integration of information systems to the US Army.

The engineering work, under the two-year contract, will be carried out at the company's facility in Arizona.
