Defence contractor General Dynamics says its third quarter earnings have increased 24 percent on the same period last year, driven by commercial jet and combat vehicle sales.
The company reported net earnings of US$546m, up from US$438m last year.
Revenue increased from US$6.07bn last year to US$6.8bn.
General Dynamics says most of the growth came from a 37 percent increase in sales of combat equipment and a 21 percent rise in aerospace sales.
