“New projects envisage production of missiles, various supplies, grenade throwers and small arms. The programme has already been submitted to president,” defence ministry official Yaver Jamalov said.
The country’s facilities have started producing practice and battle supplies, mines, remote mine throwers, sniper weapons and crawler belts.
The modernisation of armoured infantry vehicles and the production of Matador and Marauder armoured vehicles have also begun, according to Azeri-Press Agency.
