The US Army Contracting Command has awarded two task order modifications to KBR’s global government services business KBRwyle to provide logistics support services for the country’s military serving overseas.
Valued at $114m, the modifications were awarded under the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program (LOGCAP) IV contract.
Under the first $53m LOGCAP IV task order modification, the company will provide maintenance support and base operating support services to the US Army in Europe.
This contract is a six-month extension on the original task order awarded to the company in August 2015.
In addition, KBRwyle will continue assisting the US European Command in meeting its mission by transporting arms, ammunition and explosives.
The $61m second task order modification will see the company offer the US Army in the Arabian Peninsula with services such as facilities management, maintenance support, fire protection, airfield management, and transportation.
