The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 2.96% in September 2022 when compared with August 2022.
IT jobs claimed a 26.84% share in the company’s total hiring activity in September 2022, and recorded a 1.28% decline over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Leidos Holdings IT hiring in September 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Leidos Holdings, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 31.77% in September 2022, and a 46.63% drop over August 2022, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 31.44% in September 2022, and registered a decline of 24.8%. Computer Support Specialists held a share of 16.39% in September 2022, an 88.46% rise from August 2022.
North America drives IT hiring at Leidos Holdings
North America emerged as the leading region in the global aerospace, defence & security IT hiring activity in September 2022 with a 91.64% share, which marked a 34.13% drop over the previous month.
Europe stood next with 8.03%, registering a 33.33% month-on-month growth. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with a 0.33% share and a 50% drop over August 2022.
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s aerospace, defence & security industry IT hiring activity with a 91.64% share in September 2022, a 34.13% decline over August 2022. The UK featured next with a 7.02% share, up 110% over the previous month. Austria recorded a 0.67% share, a decline of 66.67% compared with August 2022.
Mid Level jobs lead Leidos Holdings IT hiring activity in September 2022
Mid Level jobs held a share of 49.5%, down by 34.22% from August 2022. Junior Level positions with a 38.8% share, a decline of 29.7% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 11.37% share, down 29.17% over August 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 0.33%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
