The industry’s overall hiring increased by 1.98% in September 2021 when compared with August 2021.
Out of the aerospace, defence & security industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 51.51% share in September 2021, recording a decrease of 2.64% over the last three-month average share.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 1.8% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of India’s aerospace, defence & security industry during September 2021 over August 2021.
The Boeing posted 447 IT jobs in September 2021 and registered a drop of 6.49% over the previous month, followed by Raytheon Technologies with 60 jobs and a 15.38% growth. Thales with 26 IT jobs and Cubic with 7 jobs, recorded a 44.44% flat growth and a flat growth, respectively, while Diehl StiftungKG recorded an increase of 500% with 6 job postings during September 2021.
Mid Level job postings dominate in September 2021
Mid Level jobs held a share of 65.24%, down by 4.94% from August 2021. Junior Level positions with a 29.77% share, registered an increase of 5.7% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 4.99% share, down 17.65% over August 2021.
