SIAG specializes in the design and construction of the most modern lifting and handling devices, with particular reference to the iron metallurgy industry, for harbour work and industrial applications.
Established in 1970 by a group of engineers who had developed their experience in famous international companies, SIAG is divided in three different production Units, certified UNI EN ISO 9001:2000. This leads to a synergy in the manufacturing processes and the possibility to meet the continuous demands of the market concerning research and development and to pick up new opportunities.
Thanks to a state-of-the-art technical department, SIAG can develop products / projects that can meet customers’ needs and requirements, in line with their drawings.
That’s why SIAG-OMC has customers from regions all over the world, including Europe, North Africa, South America, the US, Australia, China and the Middle East.
Process machinery and heavy lifting equipment
Our production focuses to process machinery and heavy lifting equipment, primarily with regard to applications for steel plants, ports and industry in general. We have also branched out into the field of components for the steel industry, shipbuilding and for lifting and transport systems as a whole. In addition, the long lifetime of these markets has allowed a constant exchange of information and experience with major manufacturers and design studios worldwide. For this reason, the we can boast a continuous and constant ability to offer the most technologically advanced solutions to our customers.
Construction machines for the steel industry
We have direct experience of collaborating with leading companies design as Techint, Voest Alpine, SMS Demag, in the design and study of new equipment for the main Italian and foreign steel companies, developing the study for the construction of machines for hot rolling and cold (down coiler, bridles, groups pinch roll, roll carts, spool handling, belt wrapper, etc..) and for continuous casting plants (roller conveyors, wagons tundish, ladle carrier wagons, carts transferring devices, etc…).
