ULTRA-LITE SERIES ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROL UNITS (ECU)
The Ultra-Lite Series (UL) ECUs are the most versatile ECUs available. They are rugged and compact, certified to MIL-STD-810-F transportability standard.
- 30% smaller and lighter than typical ECUs
- Operates in ambient temps from -50°F to 150°F
- Built exclusively with COTS components
- Available options include jack stands, wheel kits and duct accessory kits
- Multiple fast deployments from one system
- All-accessible service doors, easy to support
Options include generator-ready, continuous run controls, electric heat and many mobility accessories, such as slide-in wheels, airlift rings and jack stands.
HIGH TEMPERATURE WALL MOUNT SERIES ECUs
Air Rover has engineered a vertical wall mount ECU that delivers 5t of cooling in a smaller cabinet than typical 3t, vertical wall mount ECUs. The Air Rover Wall Mount Series ECUs were designed for cooling sensitive electronic equipment in a wide range of ambient temperature environments from -50°F to 150°F.
Telecommunications shelters, RADAR domes, microwave stations, and military shelters all benefit from the high-efficiency and easy serviceability of the Air Rover Wall Mount ECUs.
HIGH TEMPERATURE HT AND HTCR SERIES ECUs
Air Rover developed the High Temperature Series by working with steel mills, aluminum casting plants and hot foundries. Air Rover has now equipped it with features required in military applications such as 360° nozzles, a heavy-duty condenser motor and lightweight aluminum casing. The HT Series ECUs are ideal for operation in areas such as the Western US, Middle East and for any other applications where high ambient temperatures exist.
MULTI-PURPOSE PORTABLE AIR CONDITIONERS FOR MILITARY TENT COOLING
The multi-purpose packaged air conditioner is a very versatile unit for military on the move. It is manufactured on a skid with wheel receivers in each corner. Its protective handrail is useful in protecting the unit. The handrails can also be used to carry the unit with four or more people. The split condenser and evaporator allow a tent to slide down between them, eliminating the need for ducts. Air Rover’s multi-purpose air conditioners come in three different series:
- Standard Series – operates at temperatures up to 115°F
- High Temperature Series – operates at temperatures up to 130°F
- Desert Series – equipped for continuous run generator applications up to 130°F
COOLING FOR ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT
Air Rover can optimize your portable air conditioner with features such as precision temperature controls, which hold a constant temperature of +/- 0.5°C without reheat. We also have the capability to manufacture refrigerated test chambers rated at 10°C (+/- 0.5°C).
Air Rover portable air conditioners have proven reliable by numerous high tech companies, such as Kodak, Hewlett-Packard and Boeing for electronic equipment cooling.
