LUXMETALSISTEM Shelves, Racks and Modular Storage Systems
LUXMETALSISTEM was founded in 1990 by METALSISTEM as a distribution facility of the Metalsistem Group in order to provide customers with commercial off-the-shelf components. LUXMETALSISTEM is specialised in modular steel storage systems and integrated material handling solutions such as shelving and racking.
METALSISTEM is Italy’s largest manufacturer of modular storage components. The fully autonomous production capacities of METALSISTEM are able to meet the defence market’s global needs, covering the complete demand of industrial storage and material handling. The METALSISTEM annual production of 50,000t of shelving and pallet racking components is achieved by 1,200 employees in Rovereto, Italy.
Light and medium-load shelving systems
SUPER 123 shelving and UNIRACK shelving are medium load shelving systems made up of COTS components stored by LUXMETALSISTEM. The shelving is easy to assemble without the need to be anchored into a wall. Shelves have easy access for loading and unloading stored goods. The goods have to be loaded and unloaded manually. Light Shelving is designed to bear up to 530kg of uniformly distributed load per shelving level of up to 1,800mm x 1,000mm.
Warehouse racking and shelving systems
SUPER 456 and SUPERBO 456 warehouse racking and shelving can also be installed in tented facilities on a even and horizontal concrete, asphalt or compacted gravel floor. The racking will receive materials in bulk or on pallets. The racking beams can be equipped in seconds with shelving that can be loaded manually and by mechanical handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts. Warehouse shelving is designed to bear up to 4,500kg of uniformly distributed palletised or hand-picked goods per shelving level of 2,700mm x 1,100mm.
Steel frames, beams and shelves
Our steel shelving components such as frames, beams and shelves are made of corrosion-resistant high-quality sendzimir galvanized steel with an additional galvamag protection, and can be quickly set up. The shelving and racking is suited for use in A1 to C1 climatic zones. The shelving and the packaging is conceived for indoor storage and indoor use in temperatures between -30°C and +50°C in boht dry and high-moisture environments.
