IDEX, the largest tri-service defence and homeland security exhibition in the Middle East and North African region, returns to Abu Dhabi on the 17-21 February 2013 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Officially supported by the UAE Armed Forces, IDEX 2013 will feature over 900 international manufacturers and suppliers showcasing the latest defence technology, systems and equipment.

Deals and signed contracts

In 2009, the UAE Armed Forces announced deals worth AED 18.4 billion (US $5 billion), making IDEX one of the most successful defence shows for exhibitors to achieve signed business agreements. It is expected that the 2013 edition will surpass all records of signed contracts secured at IDEX.

Visitors

Year on year IDEX continues to attract a growing wealth of international decision-makers from within the defence industry, alongside key representatives from governments and the military. Strong representation from the GCC and MENA countries make IDEX a primary mechanism to reach such an important audience.
