Cinch Connectivity Solutions’ Fibreco division is a specialist designer and manufacturer of fibre optic termini, connectors and cable assemblies for a wide range of harsh environment applications.

Our expanded beam fibre optic connectors are used in land-based tactical systems, sub-sea, vehicle, aerospace, unmanned vehicle and naval communications systems worldwide.

Harsh environment fibre optic connectors

Fibreco’s expanded beam range of harsh environment fibre optic connectors utilise advanced technology developed and patented by Fibreco. Expanded beam connectors offer greater reliability in extreme environments and are less sensitive to dust, dirt, mud, water, sand, oils and all contaminants associated with the military environment. Fibreco expanded beam connectors are easily cleaned and require no routine maintenance.

Fibreco expanded beam fibre optic connectors can accommodate up to 16 multimode or singlemode optical channels in a range of fully sealed shell options from hermaphroditic tactical connectors to 38999 series III derived connectors for military electronic equipment connectivity.
