Southwest Antenna’s new 4×4 MIMO 4.4 – 5.0 GHz C-Band omnidirectional antenna with integrated magnetic base has been specifically created for multi-antenna MIMO and MANET radio systems and rapid deployment applications.
Southwest Antennas part 1055-362 features an omnidirectional antenna element design, providing 360-degree MIMO coverage around the antenna. The antenna elements are arraigned in a slant left / slant right configuration, exploiting the polarisation diversity for improved MIMO performance.
The 4.4 – 5.0 GHz operational frequency band coverage is suitable for DOD, federal law enforcement, homeland security, and Nato licensed band applications.
The antenna’s integrated magnetic mount and 12ft of LMR 200 RF cable allow for a number of applications and rapid deployment possibilities, such as temporary vehicle deployed radio systems, attachment to metal posts, and building structures.
