Sordin supplies advanced tactical hearing protection and PTT systems for armed forces, law enforcement and security units operating in high-noise environments where hearing protection, communication, and situational awareness must work together. 

The core offer is the Sordin Supreme T2 platform, available as Supreme T2, Supreme T2 CC and Supreme T2 SFA. All three share the SordinFLEX modular architecture and are designed around protection, awareness and mission integration. 

Across the T2 platform, electronic hearing protection limits hazardous noise while preserving access to speech, commands and environmental cues through the ambient sound system. 

Rugged waterproof housings, redundant speakers, immersion-tested designs and tight acoustic seals are built for missions where shock, rain, dust and demanding field conditions place equipment under constant strain. 

Three T2 configurations for different operational priorities

The three T2 models are built around different operational priorities. Supreme T2 is the modular foundation, combining electronic hearing protection and ambient sound with the flexibility to fit Sordin FlexCom CC, including a detachable boom microphone and downlead, when communication is required.

Supreme T2 CC is the communication-ready configuration, with a fixed boom microphone and downlead for units that need radio communication as a permanent part of the headset setup. Supreme T2 SFA adds flexible attenuation for prolonged noise exposure, using removable distance rings and attenuation inserts to reach SNR 32 and NRR 25, while returning to a slimmer cup when the extra attenuation is not required.

Like Supreme T2, T2 SFA can also be fitted with Sordin FlexCom CC, allowing enhanced attenuation and detachable communication capability within the same configuration. 

SordinHEAR2 profiles for changing operational conditions

SordinHEAR2 gives users selectable sound profiles for different operational conditions. Tactical is the standard profile for general use, with balanced ambient sound for speech, commands, movement and environmental cues. Comfort reduces gain and narrows the frequency spectrum for range training, instruction, static positions and other situations where less ambient input is preferred.

Dual, also referred to as Drone Mode, is designed to help users identify drones and other airborne threats sooner. It can also be combined with Sordin SoftEar or SmartEar Impulse for added attenuation while retaining ambient awareness. Ambient Off disables ambient sound while communication remains active, supporting vehicle transport, high-noise environments and tasks where radio traffic takes priority over surrounding sound. 

Military-grade durability for demanding field use

The T2 ecosystem is built to meet strict military requirements and has been subjected to certification testing for factors such as shock, moisture, heat and continuous strain. The electronics, seals and housings are designed to remain stable under demanding field conditions, while the headset maintains the acoustic performance needed for protection and communication.

This focus on durability supports units operating across changing climates, transport conditions and mission environments where equipment failure can affect operational capability.

SordinFLEX integration across helmets and mission setups

SordinFLEX allows the same T2 platform to be configured around different helmets, roles and equipment setups. Users can move between headband, neckband, ARC and Rear ARC suspension options, while compatible configurations can add or remove a boom microphone and downlead.

The system is designed to work alongside helmets, protective eyewear, goggles, masks and other worn equipment without creating unnecessary interference. This modular approach allows units to standardise around one headset platform while adapting suspension and communication components to the task and individual operator.

Tactical hearing protection shaped by decades of experience

Sordin has developed hearing protection since 1976, with tactical systems shaped through work with military and police users. Product development and testing focus on the demands that matter in operational use: hearing protection, intelligible sound, durability, comfort and integration with other equipment.

Development of the T2 platform continues in Sordin’s Swedish facilities, combining decades of hearing protection experience with the requirements of modern tactical operations.
