Getting in front of the right audience and building reputable, long-term relationships is all part of the extensive defence procurement cycle.

This December marked the fourth time FAUN Trackway has attended the Military Engineering Centre of Excellence (MILENG COG) Industry Day in Ingolstadt, Germany, and we’re pleased to report a growing brand awareness amongst attendees.

The Industry Day gives MILENG Subject Matters Experts from NATO and partner nations the opportunity to reflect on the challenges of today’s operational environments and discuss future developments.

MILENG COE is an international organisation accredited by NATO and supported and funded by contributions from 16 of its member nations. Its aim is to enable the continued development of Sponsoring Nations and Alliance military engineering capability by sharing recognised best practice and expertise. The organisation also helps members enhance their education and training, assists in doctrine development, and tests and validates theories.

The Industry Day gives MILENG Subject Matters Experts from NATO and partner nations the opportunity to reflect on the challenges of today’s operational environments and discuss future developments. Getting up close with military decision makers and end users allows us to find out exactly what the industry is calling for and shape future product development.

FAUN Trackway was one of 50 exhibitors on site and showed a range of product samples as well as displaying films, brochures and photographs.

Chris Kendall, director of FAUN Trackway, said: "More than 100 visitors attend the show annually, so it’s an important event in our calendar.

"Many of those we met in the first year weren’t aware of FAUN Trackway’s offering and the event has been a vital exercise in raising our profile with international forces."
