DOLL Fahrzeugbau Presents Applicaton for Insolvency Proceedings
On April 17, 2014 DOLL Fahrzeugbau AG from Oppenau presented an application to open insolvency proceedings at the district court of Offenburg. On April 22, 2014 the district court appointed lawyer Martin Mucha from the Stuttgart law firm Grub Brugger & Partner as preliminary insolvency administrator.
In 2009, the company had suffered heavily from the consequences of the global economic and financial crisis and is currently going through a restructuring process. Despite the proposed insolvency, DOLL CEO Brunhilde Rauscher-DOLL sees good chances for a successful restructuring of the company. According to Rauscher-DOLL, "The relevant course for the restructuring and reorganisation process has already been set."
DOLL Sachsen from Mildenau was also forced to file for insolvency. As well as for DOLL Fahrzeugbau AG, lawyer Martin Mucha was appointed as preliminary insolvency administrator. The business operations of DOLL Fahrzeugbau AG and DOLL Sachsen will be continued under the supervision of the preliminary insolvency administrator without restrictions. The company is to be redeveloped as part of the ongoing insolvency proceedings. The search for a suitable investor for DOLL has already taken place.
The traditional company DOLL Fahrzeugbau AG is a high tech specialist for transport solutions and is specialising in transport solutions for timber transport, heavy haulage and airfield vehicles. The company has nearly 140 years of company history and has operations worldwide. In 2013 the company generated total sales of approximately €60 million. DOLL employs currently around 360 employees in Oppenau and 48 employees in Mildenau.
