Oran Safety Glass (OSG) is a world-leading developer and producer of bullet resistant, forced entry and blast resistant glass for both the automotive and building industries. Building on more than 25 years of proven field experience, our products are the result of intensive joint R&D programs conducted in coordination with the world’s foremost militaries including the US Army and the IDF (Israeli Defense Forces). Real-time battlefield feedback is processed and increasing threats are identified, allowing us to constantly create the most resistant and resilient products available.
From our two state-of-the-art production facilities, we supply cost-effective and reliable transparent solutions for armies and security services around the world.
OSG’s transparent armor products offer protection of the highest standards in no-spall or lowspall configurations, assuring total security. Technologies implemented in our products combine extensive experience and continuous development, always incorporating the most sophisticated materials and advanced designs. Our products meet STANAG 4569 Standards (Levels 1 to 4), as well as e American NIJ 0108.01, ATPD 2352, LTAS, European CEN 1063, and IDF standards for all threat levels.
OSG offers comprehensive armoring solutions from inception to delivery, including protection against bullets (BR), blast and fragments (FSP) and forced entry (FE). Our proprietary compositions assure the highest protection, even against multiple strikes at close spacing. Clients benefit from our extensive expertise in the design and construction of frames (steel or aluminum) and gaskets to assure seamless, effective protection and full integration.
OSG products are capable of withstanding even the most harsh environmental conditions, ensuring effective, continuous and long-lasting safety. Products undergo rigorous performance testing, including tests at high and low temperatures (-50° c to +70° c). Tests are conducted to V-zero tolerance (zero penetration), resulting in ultimate protection of human life. The unsurpassed quality of our products in terms of clarity, consistency, light transmittance – even the thickest compositions – and night vision compatibility is immediately apparent. Additionally, OSG offers many features required in today’s hostile environments, such as rapid heating/defrosting, diminution of ‘spider cracks’, attenuation of radio waves and electro-magnetic fields including infrared and other wavelengths, concealed antennas and abrasion resistance.
ISO-certified
All of OSG’S production facilities are ISO 9000-2000 certified. In addition, the British Standards Institute SA (Registered Firm 31620) and the SII (17673) regularly audit OSG’s Israeli facility.
