Mexico Law Enforcement Enhances Security with NovoQuad Group’s Ultimate High-End Anti-Drone Systems
In October 2025, Mexico Law Enforcement deployed five sets of NovoQuad Group’s Ultimate High-End Anti-Drone Systems to strengthen low-altitude airspace security and counter unauthorised drone activities. The deployment aims to enhance protection against emerging drone threats in sensitive areas.
Each deployed set combines the ND-BU002 High-End Anti-Drone System with the ND-BO004 Omnidirectional Anti-Drone Jammer, creating a powerful, integrated defence solution.
Integrated multi-layer drone defence architecture
The Ultimate High-End Anti-Drone System integrates four core components: an Active Radar, a Tracking Camera, a Full-Band Directional Jammer, and an Omnidirectional Jammer. This architecture enables long-range detection, real-time target tracking, precise directional jamming, and 360-degree omnidirectional suppression, forming a comprehensive and reliable shield against drone threats.
Accurate detection and high-precision target discrimination
At the heart of the system is an advanced Active Radar based on 3D pulse Doppler technology. The radar is specifically designed to detect and identify low-altitude and ultra-low-altitude, slow and small targets with high accuracy, strong environmental adaptability, and a low false alarm rate. Optimised for Low-Slow-Small (LSS) targets, the radar can effectively distinguish drones from birds, balloons, and other aerial objects at extended distances, ensuring reliable early warning and threat classification.
24/7 vigilance: Day and night target tracking
Detected drones are continuously tracked using a dual-camera system comprising a high-resolution visible light camera and an infrared thermal imaging camera. This setup enables real-time monitoring, detailed visual confirmation, and close inspection of drone targets and potential payloads under both day and night conditions.
Precise directional jamming and 360-degree omnidirectional suppression
The system employs two complementary jamming approaches: directional jamming and omnidirectional jamming. The directional jammer provides full-band jamming across mainstream drone communication and navigation frequency bands. Its digital jamming source supports multiple modulation types, allowing effective countermeasures against consumer-grade drones as well as unconventional drones.
To enhance close-range and perimeter protection, the ND-BO004 Omnidirectional Anti-Drone Jammer is integrated into the system. It delivers continuous 360-degree drone suppression and supports both rapid tripod deployment and fixed-pole installation. The combination of long-range directional jamming and omnidirectional coverage ensures a robust and layered defence against drone incursions.
Intelligent software and autonomous operation
The system is operated through advanced Command and Control (C2) software, supporting centralised management and fully unmanned, 24/7 operation. In unattended mode, the system automatically detects, identifies, tracks, and counters unauthorised drones with high precision and minimal false alarms. This significantly reduces operator workload while strengthening response capabilities against criminal or hostile drone use.
Deployment and training support
Following delivery and deployment, NovoQuad Group provided comprehensive operational training and technical guidance to the end user. This ensured confidence in system operation and maintenance. Mexico Law Enforcement expressed strong satisfaction with the system’s performance as well as the quality of after-sales support and training services.
The successful deployment underscores NovoQuad Group’s commitment to providing cutting-edge solutions that meet the evolving security challenges faced by law enforcement agencies worldwide.
