On Thursday, April 15, 2021, in the Throne Room of the Palace of the Old Captaincy General of Aragon, the Military Commander of Zaragoza and Teruel, General Manuel Pérez López, presided over the act of delivery of the identity card of ‘Ambassador of the Army brand’ to Clara Arpa Azofra, appointed for said position by the Army General, Chief of the Army Staff.

The ambassadors of the Army Brand are those individuals who have committed themselves to the dissemination of these values, thus contributing to increase the knowledge that society has of their Army.

Doña Clara Arpa is CEO and owner of the company ARPA EMC, whose headquarters are in Zaragoza. She is a member of the Executive Committee of the CEOE, a member of the board of directors of the United Nations Global Compact, chairs the Assembly of Partners of the Spanish Network of the Global Compact and is the founder of the Innovation Center for Sustainable Development.

In addition, his company designed and led the construction of the Field Hospital of the Zaragoza Fair with capacity for 400 patients, for the current health crisis.

General Pérez López thanked the new Ambassador for accepting her position and for her commitment to spreading and strengthening the positive image of the “Army Brand”.

Doña Clara Arpa has shown her gratitude to the Chief of the Army Staff for this appointment and, in particular, to those who have proposed her to carry out this position, expressing her firm commitment to disseminate the values ​​of the “Army Brand” with responsibility what that entails.
