It will be managed by Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control, a division of Lockheed’s Electronic Systems.
Electronic Systems executive vice president Christopher Kubasik says the purchase complements Lockheed’s business activities as the firm is already a leader in autonomous vehicle development.
“The acquisition of PercepTek will strengthen our capabilities in unmanned systems and surveillance, allowing us to provide a broader portfolio of solutions to our customers,” he says.
