EADS Defence and Security has won a €9m contract to install a NATO-compliant messaging system for the Italian armed forces.
EADS will complete the Joint Military Message Handling System (IT-JMMHS) by 2011, giving Italian forces secure and standardised interoperability with NATO and non-NATO forces.
