The Indian Army said it has test fired a new version of the supersonic surface-to-surface cruise missile BrahMos with ‘satisfying’ results, according to a report on the Chinaview website.

The report quotes Indian Army vice chief Lt General Noble Thamuraj as saying that tests showed the missile could accurately reach high targets in an urban environment and that the induction process of the Block II version of BrahMos would start soon.
