The US Army has awarded VSE Corporation a contract to operate and manage the army’s TACOM / TARDEC corrosion prevention and control (CPAC) programme.
Under the $19.2m contract, VSE will begin CPAC treatment for Patriot missiles stationed in Japan and South Korea by 2010 and will provide ground support.
Work will be carried out by VSE along with its team-mates Logis-Tech, DCM Clean-air Products and Field Data Technologies to operate in Japan and South Korea.
VSE has opened a new corrosion-prevention operation in Georgia while another new location is planned for the Port of Charleston in South Carolina.
