More than 20,000 troops and over 200 tanks will participate in the exercise to validate and sharpen the army’s war-fighting concepts and doctrines.

The exercise will involve precision munitions and advance surveillance systems to achieve enhanced network centric capability.

The army will also practice joint operations with Indian Air Force fighters and transport aircraft.

India has recently carried out two exercises, Vijayee Bhava and Pine Prahar involving the 2 Strike Corps and the 11 Vajra Corps, according to Press Trust of India.
