The 7500E AESA radar provides a long-range ground moving target indication (GMTI) capability for border surveillance in all weather conditions and 24-hour wide-area surveillance.

The solid state of the radar makes it suitable to conduct aerostat operations and allows the radar to remain deployed on aerostat balloons for several weeks.

The radar has also been selected by the US Department of Homeland Security and US Customs and Border Protection and the US Coastguard.
