Teledyne Technologies’ subsidiary Teledyne Brown Engineering has secured a task order contract with the US Army Space and Missile Defense Command / Army Forces Strategic Command (USASMDC / ARSTRAT).

Valued at $67.4m, the task order was issued under an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract, and will be valid over a period of 36 to 48 months.

Awarded under the test execution services and launch augmentation (TESTLA), the contract covers target execution, asset and material development, lethality testing and analysis (TEAM DELTA).

Under the contract, Teledyne will provide test execution, lethality development and validation, analyses, flight and ground test data collection, live fire test and evaluation, and missile integration and flight testing for missile defence weapon systems.

The task order will facilitate test execution support division (TESD) within the USASMDC / ARSTRAT’s technical centre.

The TESD is designed to provide flight test planning, design, development, integration, and test execution and flexible missile launch platforms.

TESD serves the US Navy, Air Force, and marines as well as other DoD organisations and Nasa.

Teledyne Technologies provides instrumentation, digital imaging products and software, aerospace and defence electronics, and engineered systems. Its operations are located in the US, Canada, the UK, and Western and Northern Europe.
