Fischer Panda Defence designs and manufactures silent generators for mobile land, sea and air operations. The unique low noise, low vibration and light weight of our stealthy tactical generators makes it possible to incorporate them into a cabin or vehicle where they can run continually without distracting or disturbing the occupants. These features take generator trailers out of the Orbat and save critical space in ships and aircraft.

RUGGED, COMPACT, SILENT DC GENERATORS

Our rugged and compact AGT range of DC generators is adaptable to fit small or difficult to access spaces and has very high reliability and efficiency ratings. Output can be used directly or in an automatic battery-charging mode for indefinite silent running as a standard Auxiliary Power Unit (APU).

Fischer Panda generator noise levels are below 60dBA at 7m and inaudible beyond 20m. They can be fitted almost anywhere on a vehicle with equal effectiveness, and without disturbing operators. DC output up to 500A is available. Specifically designed AGT generators are available for M113 and M549 armoured vehicles and can be adapted to any other similar vehicle needing a silent APU.

VEHICLE AND CABIN MOUNTED AC GENERATORS

Fischer Panda specialize in AC power for vehicle-mounted or static cabins. These generators can be tunnel mounted – built into the cabin and accessed for service or replacement by a slide mechanism.

The Fischer Panda PSC and SST AC generators are built to stringent Mil Specs and are in service with the major armed forces of the world. The unique low noise, low vibration of these generators make it possible to incorporate a generator into a cabin or vehicle where it can run without disturbing the occupants.

Our diesel engines and alternators are water-cooled allowing the whole unit to be enclosed in a unique capsule. This is not possible with standard air-cooled generators and dramatically reduces noise and maintains a clean and stable environment for years of efficient and reliable operation.

To save total weight our generators can be connected to the vehicle fuel tank and batteries for starting and operated remotely from inside the cabin. Our AC product range is 6kW to 100kW in any voltage and frequency specified.

SILENT MILITARY GENERATORS

Fischer Panda silent military generators have a wide range of applications. For some years our 400Hz generator has been powering airborne surveillance systems, operating non-stop for a week before being brought back briefly to ground for service. Reliability has been excellent with MTBF in excess of 2,500 hours.

TRAILER-BORNE GENERATOR / ECU SYSTEMS

We manufacture many trailer borne generator / ECU systems, some coupled with our proprietary ECU or others with air-conditioning units integrated on the trailer. We have developed a unique tunnel mounted generator and air conditioning combination system designed specifically for the HMMWV cabin, which is very quiet and easily adaptable to other similar systems. In addition, our marine generators are well suited to difficult and unpleasant environments and all of the large British RNLI rescue lifeboats are equipped with Fischer Panda marine generators.

INTEGRATED GENERATOR LOGISTICS PACKAGE

Ease of service and maintenance is a major feature of our integrated logistics package and a worldwide net of distributors can provide support where required. All our military generators are built to Mil Spec or Def Stan for EMC, EMI, EMD, shock and vibration, extreme hot and cold and are currently deployed in a variety of hostile environments. The generator capsules can be removed in seconds and all generator service parts are positioned to make maintenance quick and easy.
