Verseidag Ballistic Protection offers tailor-made military protective systems and personal protection products for armed forces, the police, law-enforcement personnel and civil personnel vehicle manufacturers. Our product range includes:

Lightweight military protective systems

One of the greatest challenges for modern armies is equipping vehicles, helicopters, aircrafts and ships with the maximum possible protection while keeping additional weight to a minimum. Verseidag Ballistic Protection products are made of various materials tested for their suitability for military use, such as aramid, high performance polyethylene and glass fibre. Against higher threat levels these materials can be combined with various kinds of ballistic ceramic inserts. Our systems provide protection according to all NATO STANAG 4569 levels.

Spall-liners

Verseidag Ballistic Protection spall-liners enhance a vehicle’s primary armour and are the ideal choice to support steel armour constructions. The spall-liner contributes to fragmentation protection, even in an overmatch situation caused by hollow charges such as RPGs or KE-ammunition, by reducing the spall radius.

Stand-alone systems

Verseidag Ballistic Protection stand-alone armour systems provide excellent protection against blast, fragmentation and kinetic energy penetration (KE) ammunition. No existing or additional armour is required because these solutions cover the full range of protection.

Modular vehicle armour – add-on armour

Verseidag Ballistic Protection add-on armour offers additional protection to the vehicle basic armour. The primary armour determines which type of additional protection is required. Add-on solutions are manufactured as modular sets which are easily mountable.

Reactive vehicle armour

Verseidag Ballistic Protection’s new generation of reactive armour combines protection against shaped charge warheads with an incomparably low weight and avoids generating fragments caused by accelerated steel plates.

This composite lightweight adaptable reactive armour (CLARA) is completely developed and can be mounted as a modular system onto existing vehicles. To provide protection against KE ammunition CLARA can also be combined with add-on armour.

Our CLARA system provides protection against hollow explosive charges like the RPG-7 family.

Automotive object protection

Verseidag Ballistic Protection is developer and manufacturer of protective systems for special vehicles produced by OEMs such as BMW, Mercedes Benz as well as suppliers for ballistic protection materials to retrofit series-production vehicles.

We offer the full range from flat panels to custom-made two- and three-dimensional protective systems starting from light protection to heavy armour systems including blast protection according to all existing protection standards.
