End-to-end information technology solutions provider Intelligent Waves has secured a contract position on the US Army’s potential Information Technology Enterprise Solutions-3 Services (ITES-3S) award, valued at $12.1bn.

Managed by the US Army’s Computer Hardware, Enterprise Software and Solutions (CHESS) programme, the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract will continue for a period of nine years.

The firm-fixed-price and time-and-materials contract is expected to serve as the primary source of information technology (IT)-related services for the US Army across the globe.

Intelligent Waves president and chief executive officer Jared Shepard said: “The ITES-3S award is a very important achievement for Intelligent Waves.

“The award provides access to new opportunities to support the Department of the Army while allowing us to strengthen and grow long-term relationships with our army customers.”

“The ITES-3S award is a very important achievement for Intelligent Waves.”

ITES-3S is a follow-on award to the service’s ITES-2S contract that was awarded to 16 prime contractors in 2006.
