Macro Solutions (Msol) has awarded a subcontract to Envistacom in support of a $12.1bn Information Technology Enterprise Solutions-3 Services (ITES-3S) contract.
Envistacom will provide its subject matter expertise in cyber, cybersecurity, and satellite communication (SATCOM), in addition to providing engineering, installation, operation and maintenance services expertise to Msol’s ITES-3S team.
The ITES-3S contract was awarded by the US Army’s Computer Hardware, Enterprise Software and Solutions (CHESS) and Army Contracting Command-Rock Island (ACC-RI) in September 2018 and has a five-year base period with four one-year extension options.
Contractual work includes business process re-engineering, cybersecurity, network / systems operations and maintenance.
Macro Solutions is engaged in providing IT and management consulting serves, while Envistacom is a provider of cyber, counterterrorism and communications solutions.
Logistics and supply chain solutions provider IFS has secured a contract from Lockheed Martin to support a $3.4bn US Army contract.

The US ACC has awarded an $83.94m contract to L3 Communications Security and Detection Systems for AN/PSS-14 mine detection system.
The company will manufacture and supply AN/PSS-14 landmine detection system under the contract until November 2023.
The contract also includes delivery of support services to the mine detection system.
