SGT, a subsidiary of KBRwyle, has secured a prime contractor position on the US Army’s $12.1bn information technology enterprise solutions-3 services (ITES-3S) contract.
Awarded by the US Army Contracting Command, the contract includes delivery of IT support solutions such as cybersecurity, telecommunications, and supply chain management.

The initial performance period for the ITES-3S contract is five years, which can be further extended by four years.
General Dynamics Land Systems (GDLS) has secured a $714m contract to modernise 174 M1A1 Abrams main battle tanks.
The M1A1 Abrams will be upgraded to M1A2 System Enhancement Package Version 3 (SEPv3) configuration, which includes improvements in communication and weapons systems along with other technical upgrades.
The current upgrade contract is part of the army requirements contract signed in 2017 for the upgrade of 435 M1A1 Abrams MBTs.

The US Army has awarded a $60.74m contract to Ohio-based survivability solutions manufacturer O’gara-Hess & Eisenhardt Armoring for the supply of protection kits for the army’s family of medium tactical vehicles (FMTV).
The protection kits will provide ballistic and blast protection along with under-body protection for the FMTVs.
Contractual work will be performed at select locations on order basis, until December 2023.
