The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 3.3% in November 2022 when compared with October 2022.
IT jobs claimed an 18.94% share in the company’s total hiring activity in November 2022, and recorded a 1.37% decline over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Raytheon Technologies IT hiring in November 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Raytheon Technologies, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 44.98% in November 2022, and a 19.22% drop over October 2022, while Computer and Information Research Scientists claimed a share of 25.55% in November 2022, and registered a decline of 15.22%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 18.34% in November 2022, a 2.33% drop from October 2022.
North America drives IT hiring at Raytheon Technologies
North America emerged as the leading region in the global aerospace, defence & security IT hiring activity in November 2022 with a 90.17% share, which marked a 16.9% drop over the previous month.
Asia-Pacific stood next with 8.52%, registering a 2.5% month-on-month decline. Europe was the third leading region with a 1.31% share and a 14.29% drop over October 2022.
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s aerospace, defence & security industry IT hiring activity with an 88.21% share in November 2022, a 17.21% decline over October 2022. India featured next with a 7.21% share, down 13.16% over the previous month. The UK recorded a 1.09% share, an increase of 25% compared with October 2022.
Mid Level jobs lead Raytheon Technologies IT hiring activity in November 2022
Mid Level jobs held a share of 56.77%, down by 12.16% from October 2022. Junior Level positions with a 22.49% share, a decline of 16.26% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 19.87% share, down 20.18% over October 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 0.87%, recording a month-on-month decline of 63.64%.
