US-based company Lockheed Martin’s IT hiring rose 10.4% in November 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 10.84% in November 2022 when compared with October 2022.

IT jobs claimed a 27.81% share in the company’s total hiring activity in November 2022, and recorded a 0.46% growth over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Lockheed Martin IT hiring in November 2022

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Lockheed Martin, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 58.17% in November 2022, and a 20.56% rise over October 2022, while Computer and Information Research Scientists claimed a share of 29.96% in November 2022, and registered a decline of 6.67%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 9.14% in November 2022, a 36.49% drop from October 2022.

North America drives IT hiring at Lockheed Martin

North America emerged as the leading region in the global aerospace, defence & security IT hiring activity in November 2022 with a 98.05% share, which marked a 2.65% rise over the previous month.

Europe stood next with 1.17%, registering a 50% month-on-month decline. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with a 0.78% share and a 33.33% drop over October 2022.

The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s aerospace, defence & security industry IT hiring activity with a 95.14% share in November 2022, a 1.24% growth over October 2022. Canada featured next with a 2.53% share, up 116.67% over the previous month. The UK recorded a 1.17% share, a decline of 45.45% compared with October 2022.

Junior Level jobs lead Lockheed Martin IT hiring activity in November 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 61.28%, up by 4.65% from October 2022. Mid Level positions with a 26.26% share, a decline of 4.93% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 12.06% share, up 1.64% over October 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 0.39%, recording a month-on-month decline of 60%.
