Netherlands-based company Airbus IT hiring declined 8.4% in November 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 9.96% in November 2022 when compared with October 2022.

IT jobs claimed a 10.78% share in the company’s total hiring activity in November 2022, and recorded a 0.92% decline over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Airbus IT hiring in November 2022

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Airbus, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 40.6% in November 2022, and a 12.9% drop over October 2022, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 30.83% in November 2022, and registered growth of 28.13%. Computer and Information Research Scientists held a share of 16.54% in November 2022, an 18.52% drop from October 2022.

Europe drives IT hiring at Airbus

Europe emerged as the leading region in the global aerospace, defence & security IT hiring activity in November 2022 with a 91.73% share, which marked a 3.17% drop over the previous month.

Asia-Pacific stood next with 6.02%, registering a 20% month-on-month decline. North America was the third leading region with a 2.26% share and a 40% drop over October 2022.

Germany commanded a leading presence in the region’s aerospace, defence & security industry IT hiring activity with a 33.83% share in November 2022, a 15.09% decline over October 2022. France featured next with a 21.8% share, down 21.62% over the previous month. Spain recorded a 16.54% share, a decline of 4.35% compared with October 2022.

Junior Level jobs lead Airbus IT hiring activity in November 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 60.9%, down by 22.12% from October 2022. Mid Level positions with a 27.82% share, a growth of 60.87% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with an 11.28% share, up 7.14% over October 2022.
