Renault Trucks Defense will equip 80 units of VAB TOP with the gun shot detection system PILARw, supplied by 01Db-Metravib. This system will be coupled to the remote weapon system Kongsberg.

This additional equipment, providing additional crew protection and improving overall response capability, will be adapted during the last quarter of 2011.
