Photonic Introduces New Sighting Instrument for 60mm Mortars

The well-known manufacturer of reliable and highly efficient optical instruments has developed a unique sighting system to lay muzzle-loaded indirect fire weapons such as 60mm mortars.

The R08 is an effective and easy to operate sighting instrument featuring the high mobile and independent operational nature of close fire support operations for infantry units.

With the high accuracy and the ability for a fast deployment in combination with its low weight the instrument is very attractive for the use with regular infantry squads but also for air assault and special operation units.
