Since 1978, Nortec Electronics has developed custom electronic circuits and devices. Today, we specialise in the development and manufacture of military chargers and power supplies, and specialise in electronics for multi-cellular systems.

Four-stroke military alternators

We manufacture the ACG 2000, a four-stroke military alternator approved for sealed GEL batteries. Specifications include:

Military battery testers and chargers

Our BT 2000 military battery charger and tester features the following specifications:

Military charging and testing unit for lead-acid batteries

The EL20 is a charging and testing unit for lead-acid batteries. Its built-in microprocessor monitors all relevant parameters including current, voltage, lifespan, temperature and capacity. Specifications include:

  • Weight – 4.4kg with charger

Trickle charger for lead-acid batteries

Our LE21 trickle charger can charge open or closed lead-acid batteries with a 12V or 24V rated voltage and a capacity of up to 400Ah. Specifications include:

Mobile charger and power supply for military vehicles

The LG90 is a mobile charger and power supply for military vehicles, and can be used to power vehicles without the need to turn their engines on. Specifications include:

  • Weight – 60kg
  • Electrical connection – 12VDC / 24VDC

UL60 Charger / Analyser

The UL60 in 19in housing is used for the treatment of lead and NiCd batteries. It is the consistent further development of the UL10N and the VARTA UL10.

UPE4000 Portable Power Supply (UPS)

The portable device serves for uninterruptible power supply of 24VDC consumers at available AC-net using the built in rectifier unit or from external supply unit this could be a fuel cell of maximum voltage of 28.8V.
