Teaser of the Improved Container Handling Unit (ICHU) for military MULTILIFT Hooklifts / Load Handling Systems (LHS).
• (Un)-Loading STANAG 2413 flatracks / bodies and 1C and 1CC ISO containers from the safety of the (protected) truck cab.
• Only one operator/driver required for a full loading cycle in less than half of the time of a conventional CHU.
• Handling ISO containers according to the LEEA 066 and the ISO 3874 standards → handling loaded ISO containers via 4 ISO corner castings in accordance with the view of the World Shipping Council.
• The ICHU is designed with the autonomy journey in mind: • Driver Operated LHS → Driver Assisted LHS (L2) → Autonomous LHS vehicle (L3 + L4)
