SOMAG’s Ruggedized Stabilization Platform (RSM) 50 is designed to provide the highest possible level of stabilisation for mobile mapping, scanning, imaging and video capturing with ground vehicles. The electromechanical gimbal system ensures stabilised imagery and data collection for sensors up to 40kg. Located on top of cars, small UGVs and mining vehicles, the Gyro Stabilization Mount compensates for roll and pitch movements that occur while driving. The IP67-rated housing offers protection against dust, splash, and saltwater. An Ethernet interface facilitates seamless system integration and remote control. The RSM 50 is equipped with an energy-saving mode.
