Defence, security and aviation lifecycle support services provider Patria and the Estonian Centre for Defence Investment (ECDI) have renewed the Life Cycle Support Agreement for XA-180 and XA-188 8×8 armoured vehicles fleet.

The renewal agreement is aimed at supporting ECDI in the maintenance, repair, upgrades and spare part supplies of the XA vehicles.

It is valid for a period of seven years.

The earlier agreement, which was signed in 2013, was effective from 2014 and runs through the end of this year.

According to Patria, the earlier agreement was signed with the Estonian Defense Forces (EDF), while the new one was signed with ECDI.

Patria Land Business Unit president Jussi Järvinen said: “Patria’s Life Cycle Support services for our products are an important part of our business.
