Oshkosh Defense has secured $167m in US Army Family of Heavy Tactical Vehicles (FHTV) orders for the delivery of 225 trucks and 54 trailers.
The vehicles will serve various US Army clients, including the National Guard, Reserve, and the Programme Executive Office Missiles and Space for the indirect fire protection capability system.
The order comprises various variants of the HEMTT A4 and the autonomous-ready Palletised Load System (PLS) A2, enabling the integration of modernised Oshkosh platforms with next-generation defence technologies.
A portion of these vehicles will contribute to the advancement and deployment of advanced air defence systems capable of neutralising ballistic, hypersonic, and cruise missiles.
Oshkosh Defense chief programmes officer Pat Williams said: “Through our valued partnership with the US Army, we are proud to support the critical role of the National Guard and Reserve forces and enable the integration of next-generation defence capabilities.
“These orders demonstrate the versatility of the FHTV fleet to fill diverse mission sets across all Army components and underscores Oshkosh’s ability to deliver scalable, mission-ready solutions.”
