PCX Aerostructures has secured two contracts, totalling $136.2m, from the US Department of Defense (DoD) to support the Apache helicopter programme.
Under the first contract worth $72.3m, PCX will manufacture new main rotor heads for Boeing AH-64 Apache helicopter.

The second $63.9m contract requires the company to provide overhaul and repair (O&R) services for Apache main rotor heads.
The contracts for the production and O&R services for AH-64 Apache helicopter components have a five-year period.
The latest contracts are the company’s third consecutive main rotor head O&R contract award.

PCX has been supporting the Apache helicopter programme for more than thirty years.
With manufacturing facilities in Connecticut, Texas and New York, the company supplies highly engineered, precision, flight-critical and structural assemblies for rotorcraft and fixed-wing aerospace platforms.
The company focuses on producing complex parts machined from hard alloys such as titanium, Inconel and steel for defence and commercial markets.
It provides direct delivery of components and large assemblies to customers such as Airbus, Boeing, General Electric Aircraft Engines, Bell Helicopter, Sikorsky and Triumph Aerostructures.
