MacAulay-Brown (MacB) has secured a task order contract to support the Special Operations Command Europe (SOCEUR) and Special Operations Command Africa (SOCAFRICA).

Estimated at $14m, the five-year contract requires the company to conduct research and analysis, and enhance defence system-related scientific and technical information.

MacB Mission Systems Group (MSG) senior vice-president and general manager Fred Norman said: "We are honoured to have been selected to support and contribute to this very important mission.

"This win expands MacB into two theatre special operations commands (TSOCs), and showcases our ability to analyse and provide theatre technical expertise to meet their unique special operations requirements.

"This TSOC contract directly compliments our recent USSOCOM Wide Mission Support award, and MacB’s focus to support global SOF requirements.

"We’re now poised to grow our European footprint, and showcase quality and excellence for our SOCEUR and SOCAFRICA customers."
